Powers: Rocket has many of the same abilities as a normal raccoon, such as a heightened sense of smell and sight
Abilities: Rocket is an accomplished starship pilot, an excellent marksman with the two laser pistols he carries as well as having an affinity for heavy weapons. He's also an excellent military tactician and leader, attributes that see him frequently taking charge of the Guardians of the Galaxy when Starlord is unavailable.
Weakness: He's short and also a Raccoon.

Recent History
Rocket helped form and name the Guardians of the Galaxy after the annihilation wars and helps Star Lord to co-lead the group. During the War of Kings he lead one half of the group to try and stop the Shi'ar, but after a botched attempt to board Emperor Vulcan's ship, his group were rescued by the Starjammers. He is long time friends with Starjammer Ch'od, and is currently still with them aboard their ship. (I figure that way him and Havok will be together at the start?) The other half of the Guardians are lost in time and space, so Rocket is doing all he can to find a way to bring them back.
